Part Time Liquor Room Supervisor - 9112

SUMMARY -- ASM, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Part-time Liquor Room Supervisor for ASM/OKC. Under the general supervision of the Director of Food & Beverage, Asst. Concessions Director, Concessions Manager, Asst. Concessions Managers. The Liquor Room Supervisors main job focus is to oversee event operations of the liquor warehouse.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

  • Supervises Liquor Room Attendants on event and nonevent days
  • Ensure that beer stands and bars are properly stocked for all events.
  • Maintains all Liquor Warehouse equipment and cleaning maintenance logs.
  • Complies with Health Department rules and regulations.
  • Dispatch food and supplies, as needed during events.
  • Inventory Control, to include counting and requisitioning food and supplies, as needed during the event.
  • Completes nightly and monthly inventory processes as directed

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under general supervision of the General Manager, interact continuously with clients, promoters, agents, and managers in efforts to solidify business for the facility. Oversee and coordinate all aspects in the facility booking process in applicable markets and in compliance with contractual obligations to resident sports tenants. This position requires the knowledge of the live entertainment industry, current trends in the live entertainment industry, including current musical genres and demographics, ticketing, marketing, promotions, social media, and local market trends and demographics.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute to the growth and profitability of the business, with management oversight of all aspects of event related sales and bookings in Paycom Center.
  • Negotiate venue deals with promoters, agents, and event producers.
  • Manages the development of the annual operating calendar, activity schedules, projections for attendance and/or revenue.
  • Works closely with the Oklahoma City Thunder to coordinate scheduling and maintains positive client relations by providing efficient, quality service to the NBA partner.
  • Assists with creative promotion efforts for events with the Marketing Department and creating strategic, proactive efforts to procure content for the facility.
  • Obtain full understanding of venue deal points and agreements.
  • Directly accountable for sales goals, budgeting and profitability of event sales and booking.
  • Maintain databases for current offers, contracts, and venue calendars as well as all other information relating to the daily operations of the facilities.
  • Assist in settlement of all concerts and special events.
  • Contact prospective promoters, agents, managers, and individuals to initiate the sales effort.
  • Attend conferences/trade shows and conduct necessary business travel to generate new business.
  • Compile bid and sales proposals for the facility.
  • Provide information to potential licensees regarding policies and procedures, rental rates, space requirements and availability, catering services, available equipment, and labor.
  • Leads team of staff in creating new high-priority special events.
  • Actively seeks out new event business.
  • Assists with public relations and dynamic promotional activities.
  • Conducts special projects as assigned by the General Manager.

  • Rotate with other facility personnel to function as Manager on Duty (MOD), who maintains total responsibility and authority over all clients, staff personnel, patrons, security, and safety in assigned buildings. Responsibilities include but not limited to making sure contractual agreements are met and clients' event requirements and changes have been made in a timely fashion. On-duty staff/subcontractors ultimately report to the MOD through any Managers or Supervisors who are present during the event.
  • Work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position directly supervises one or more administration employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with ASM's policies and applicable laws. This position manages a variety of executive team support duties and projects, which will advance the strategies of the company. The specialist will also serve as an extension of the General Manager (GM) and provide support to the executive leadership. Responsible for collaborating with marketing, booking and the executive team to advance key initiatives as assigned. In addition, they will provide detailed and anticipatory administrative services for the General Manager that enhances administrative workflow and overall efficiency of the organization.

Major Responsibilities/Essential Duties

  • Manage assigned executive team support duties and projects to advance the strategies of the company.
  • Use applied techniques and unique resources to conduct industry analysis and execute projects.
  • Resolve as many issues as possible and present unresolved issues to GM with detailed analysis for consideration.
  • Provide high-level administrative support that involves drafting reports, scheduling meetings, planning business trips, answering phone calls, interacting with industry professionals, managing information requests, detailed note taking and transcription. Compose routine correspondence not requiring a supervisor's attention.

Building Engineer - 9160

SUMMARY -- Under the supervision of the Chief Engineer, the HVAC Mechanic will operate, maintain, inspect, clean, and make adjustments to all aspects of facility electronic and mechanical systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

  • Assist in coordinating the work of repair, maintenance, and preventative measures of all facility systems;
  • Inspect systems throughout facility to detect malfunction or breakdowns;
  • Investigate malfunctions or breakdown of systems to diagnose causes and locate the source of the problem;
  • Anticipate potential malfunctions or breakdowns and takes appropriate action to prevent or minimize the use of services;
  • Operate and maintain refrigeration and heating of facility;
  • Maintain and inspect equipment, including pumps, boilers, and automatic doors;
  • Record inspections and repairs;
  • Complete work assigned orders;
  • Performing chemical tests, safety reports, inspections sheets and other related reports and forms on a daily basis;
  • Inspect service, maintain and repair ice-making/freezing systems and appurtenances;
  • Inspect and maintain the fire suppression system;
  • Assist in the set-up for events;
  • The HVAC Mechanic has frequent contact with contract personnel and the public to answer questions about work being performed or to refer individuals to appropriate departmental personnel;
  • Adhere to established departmental policies, procedures, codes and regulations;
  • Adhere to OSHA and other applicable safety codes;
  • Know safety precautions applicable to building equipment and repair;
  • Coordinate the operations activities with other building departments and show-related contractors;
  • Anticipate problems and appropriate solutions. Investigates, analyzes and resolves operational problems and complaints;
  • Follow the preventive maintenance program, energy management program and standard operations procedures for all machinery and equipment; 
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Engineer and Skilled Trades Senior Operations Manager.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has limited supervisory responsibilities for assisting other operations staff. Carries out any temporarily assigned supervisory responsibilities in accordance with SMG's policies and applicable laws.

  • Check identification of customers in order to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
  • Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons
  • Prepare guests' alcoholic beverage orders, including, but not limited to: draft beer, bottled beer, wine, seltzers, spritzers, and mixers/garnishes as needed.
  • Order or requisition liquors and supplies, as needed during events.
  • Accountable for all physical inventory.
  • Ability to operate ByPass POS terminal
  • Maintain cleanliness of assigned area and bar equipment.
  • Arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive displays.

To supervise fulltime, part-time, and 3rd party workers who are assigned various and numerous duties throughout the Paycom Center and Prairie Surf Studios, along with the setting up and breaking down of equipment for events. This person acts as a working lead or foreman type and ensures that their crew is competent in their job assignments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Supervise and assist with all aspects of operations including setups and conversions (i.e. stages, risers, hockey dasher system, basketball floor, chairs and tables, dressing rooms, lobby areas, etc.) 
  • Supervise operations staff, including training employees; planning, assigning, and managing work; addressing employee complaints and resolving problems.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This person is responsible for the hiring, training, scheduling and supervision of all building security personnel.

This Includes:

  • Creates, trains, and implements procedures for all guards
  • Trains guards on CCTV and Access Control system
  • Oversees documentation of deliveries and other necessary reports

  • CLEET certification
  • Be licensed and insured to operate a motor vehicle in the state of Oklahoma.

SUMMARY -- ASM, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Part-time Dinning Server for ASM/OKC. Under the general supervision of the Premium Services Manager, the Dinning server is to serve Guests in a courteous, helpful, professional and pleasant manner. The employee is responsible for duties such as greeting guests, servicing the guest's needs, opening and closing side work and other service related duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To report for duty punctually, in full uniform according to appearance and grooming standards.
  • To promote and maintain a positive working relationship at all times with all colleagues of ASM / SAVOR...
  • To follow all departmental policies, procedures and set service standards as outlined in the ASM Handbook.
  • To consistently offer professional, friendly and warm hospitality to all guests.
  • To foster and practice teamwork and cooperation with all other positions existing in the restaurant.
  • To attend all required training sessions and be aware of any changes to menus, restaurant and departmental policies and procedures, service standards as well as business trends and requirements.
  • To have full and complete knowledge of the food menu, dessert menu, coffee and tea menu as well as all other beverage menus and the wine list. To know about menu items, ingredients, preparation methods and garnishes for all dishes.
  • To be able to guide the guest through the menu and make any suggestions or recommendations in the guests 'interest. To be able to answer any guest question about food items, beverages and wines in an informative and Helpful way.
  • To be aware of all cashiering procedures and the handling of all payment methods.
  • To understand and follow all Micros procedures and policies as stated in the SAVOR...guidelines.
  • To communicate all service requirements to the respective team members in an efficient and effective way.
  • To ensure that all work areas and stations are kept clean and tidy at all times.
  • To perform all opening, side and closing duties as well as all daily and weekly duties to the set standards as

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has limited supervisory responsibilities for employees in the Food & Beverage department. Employees must carry out any temporarily assigned supervisory responsibilities in accordance with ASM's policies and applicable laws.
