We are looking for an experienced ticketing professional to join our Ticket Office team. The Senior Ticketing Manager will report directly to the Director of Ticketing. This position will directly manage full-time team members, and provide Paycom Center clients with comprehensive event management and ticketing services. Primary responsibilities include providing venue-specific information to promoters, event submissions, event financials, ongoing event administration, box office operations, day of show production, and settlement. Product specialization will include Host, Archtics, TM1, Entry, AXS, and Account Manager. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain excellent client relationships while meeting and exceeding client service level agreements.
  • Manage, lead, develop, and coach  full-time Ticket Office team members by providing staff with strong leadership oversight and career development
  • Advise and manage reporting for the venue and its promoter clients.
  • Ensure the venue is maximizing its use of Ticketmaster products and services.
  • Provide initial venue-specific information to promoters such as venue specs and requirements, scalings, and financials.
  • Submit events to Ticketmaster for programming; manage all inventory requirements, special offers, and programs on behalf of venue and promoter.
  • Responsible for day of show box office support for venue, promoter, and customers with night of show settlement and reporting as required.
  • Help maintain the Ticket Office budget and ensure department says within given budgetary restraints.  
  • Build events in the Archtics database and assist Premium Sales & Services Team with season renewals and member presales, including setting up Account Manager for sales to our premium ticket members.
  • Setup scanners, gates, rules, exceptions, load events, and archive with the Ticketmaster Entry system.
  • Use troubleshooting techniques and tools to identify the root cause of issues including the research of client/customer complaints about service levels.
  • Collaborate with arena teams such as Finance, Marketing, Premium Sales & Service, Front of House, Operations, and IT.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by Director of Ticketing.
  • Assist the Director of Ticketing in developing the long-term strategy of the Ticket Office to best serve all clients while delivering on departmental and company objectives.

Qualifications

The qualifications listed below represent the credentials necessary to perform the essential functions of this position.   • Excellent verbal and written communication and documentation skills.
  • Experience training and managing full-time staff.
  • Extremely organized and detail- oriented, resourceful, quick learner and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Skilled in conflict resolution.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment, yet comfortable completing tasks independently.

This position is responsible for the installation, maintenance and repairs of facility and client audio, video, and technical systems including lighting, sound, video, telephone systems, computer/data systems (internet) and radio and television broadcasts. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following.  Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

  • Setup, monitor and maintain all technical/staging equipment in the facility in regards to but not limited to audio, video, presentation/show lighting, scoreboard operations, staging equipment, telecommunications (phone service, special circuits and network.)
  • Provide installation, and repairs on services such as phone, network, cable feeds, audio and video being either event related or structural.
  • Coordinates telephone systems provider’s services outside the facility with in-house requirements.
  • Maintains applicable code requirements that apply to cable insulation, ceiling plenum routing and support, wall penetration and fire routing when conduit raceways are necessary.
  • Solves routine and extraordinary field technical problems
  • Correctly uses and applies test equipment to verify problems to the facility systems
  • Works from blueprints and develops sketches or schematics when necessary
  • Reads, understands and communicates client floor plan layouts.
  • Supervises and assists outside contractors, stagehands, riggers, and production crews
  • Maintains inventory of all audio, video, and telecommunications equipment.
  • Provides internet connections with the direction and assistance of the IT department
  • Coordinates work with all operations sections; interfaces effectively with all users, providers and peers.
  • Working knowledge of RF cable signals and plants
  • Knowledge of installation of patch bays, switchers, mixers and converters in both audio and video applications.
  • Maintains/ Services wide variety of Audio-Video-Lighting-Networking systems including Vitec IPTV, IPC Centrix phone, Crestron, Musco, ETC, Eaton, Adflow, and VenueNext throughout the building.
  • Maintains/ services servers, encoders, broadcast patching, digital signage, and multiple software.
  • Able to install/ design/ service various projects as needed throughout the building.
  • Responsible for IT tasks such as wiring, routing, installing, networking, at the hardware and/ or physical network throughout.
  • Operating systems during events when needed or coverage is not available.
  • Maintain/ service all building lighting systems and equipment.
  • Responsible for all related equipment maintenance, repair, and inventory.
  • Coordinates with and assists outside contractors, stage hands, riggers, and production crews in the absence of the supervisor.
  • Performs event standby and troubleshoots technical problems in real time situations
  • Ability to identify and terminate all forms of audio and video connections whether consumer, professional or broadcast level.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of signal flow for both audio and video applications.
  • Working knowledge of wireless systems and frequencies
  • Knowledge and understanding of digital vs. analog signals in both audio and video
  • Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts and company vehicles.

The Police Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety of patrons, staff, vendors and property. They are responsible for documenting any incidents when they take police action while working for ASM and on any ejections, disturbances or problems that may arise. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Enforce violations of city ordinances, state statutes and federal laws while working in an off-duty capacity on the premises.
  • Perform security during events to ensure safety of patrons, staff, vendors, participants and others on premises
  • Respond appropriately to any requests from building staff on disturbances
  • Tour post regularly to assure safety of patrons, staff, vendors, participants, others and property left on premises
  • Assist and handle any disturbances or problems that arise during events at either facility. If necessary, escort disruptive individual(s) to designated area and/or off the premises.
  • If an ejection is made the necessary report are completed to document the incident.
  • Assist with crowd control inside and outside the premises
  • Assist with pedestrian and traffic control of patrons entering and exiting the premises
  • Control unusual circumstances and events during fire, storms, civil disturbances and other emergencies
  • Complete required reports and notifications in accordance with ASM’s and OCPD’s policies and procedures

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently employed as a full-time employee of the Oklahoma City Police Department
  •  Previous training on directing vehicle and pedestrian traffic

The Paycom Center is seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual for the position of Event Services Coordinator. This role is a hybrid position encompassing event coordination and event day personnel. 50% of this role will be dedicated to Event Management and the other 50% is with Guest Relations and Event Security. This position assists the Event Manager and Guest Relations and Event Security Managers on a day-to-day basis and in a full-time capacity.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

  • Plan, organize, and manage events at Paycom Center.
  • Supervise emergency/medical personnel, crowd control, ushers/ticket takers, and Police Officers as well as contract employees for events.
  • Collect, filter, and present arena feedback data to management and directors.
  • Coordinate outside service needs with food and beverage contractor, decorators, or other vendors.
  • Assist with special needs or requests for all front-of-house arrangements such as opening of house, late seating, clearing aisles, etc.
  • File all personal injury and accident reports that may occur during events to management office.
  • Maintain the proper image and generate positive public relations with artists, clients, exhibitors, patrons, and staff.
  • Communicate with clients to obtain necessary technical requirements and other event related information.
  • Inspect buildings and specific meeting areas to evaluate suitability for occupancy and ensure that the equipment, physical set-up, and personnel provided meet the requirements of the event and the client's contractual agreement.
  • Ensure all pertinent information is obtained, compiled in event files, and distributed to proper facility departments.
  • Coordinate and satisfy the requirements of multiple events occurring simultaneously.
  • Engage in decisions related to crowd management in a prompt and decisive manner during crisis situations.
  • Ensure that all Guest Relations & Event Security policies and procedures are followed.
  • Serve as a point of contact for patron complaints.
  • Assist in updating Guest Relations & Event Security personnel files and schedules.
  • Oversee Guest Relations & Event Security recognition board.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has limited indirect supervisory responsibilities during the events. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with ASM’s policies and applicable laws.  Responsibilities include planning, assigning and directing work, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
